Ranael is a multidisciplinary artist from Toulouse whose work lies at the intersection of music, performance, and the performing arts.
As a singer, rapper, multi-instrumentalist, DJ, actress, dancer, and Drag King, she explores the many ways a body, a voice, and a stage can come alive. As a solo artist and singer-songwriter, she has also performed with music groups and choirs, led batucadas, and contributed to the creation of giant puppets and multidisciplinary performances.
Trained at Saint-Sernin and holding a degree in Music and Arts, Ranael has developed a free-flowing, cross-disciplinary artistic practice over the years. Her journey has taken her across four continents and more than thirty countries, enriching her creative universe through encounters with people, cultures, and perspectives from around the world.
On stage, she embodies a distinctive, energetic, and unapologetic presence. Through her music and performances, she challenges social norms, celebrates the diversity of identities, and champions freedom of expression in all its forms. Blending musical intensity, theatricality, movement, transformation, spirituality and self-expression, Ranael turns every project into a space for experimentation and liberation.
Deeply involved in the artistic and community scene, she has collaborated with organisations including Samba Résille, Le Polymorphe, Be Art, La Maison Clinquante, and Acting Lab Studio, contributing in particular to European artistic and creative projects.
Today, Ranael develops her own creations and projects across music, performance, and artistic direction. An artist constantly in motion, she combines energy, versatility, and a bold aesthetic to create a vision of the alternative scene that is free, inclusive, and resolutely contemporary.

Acting
For Ranael, acting is not a separate discipline, but a powerful tool that nourishes every aspect of her artistic practice. Drawn to the depth, freedom, and physicality of performance, she began with theatre before expanding into film.
Her acting journey has taken her to stages including the Théâtre National de Toulouse, Théâtre Jules Julien, Théâtre du Pavé, and Teatro Italia Borgaro, as well as to Los Angeles, where she had the opportunity to meet and learn from renowned acting teacher Ivana Chubbuck.
Through acting, Ranael continues to explore character, emotion, presence, and storytelling — bringing new dimensions to her music and performances.
