Since 2023, Ranael has been developing her career in drag, creating an artistic universe at the intersection of storytelling, music, and performance. Her distinctive and multidisciplinary approach quickly gained recognition beyond France, leading her to perform across Europe, such as Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris,
Zagreb, Torino, Athens…
Beyond the stage, Ranael is also taking a pioneering approach by exploring the connections between drag, education and European cooperation. She has become involved in the development and writing of Erasmus+ projects focused on adult education through drag, opening up new perspectives for the art form.
This work positions Ranael as a pioneer in France in bringing drag into the sphere of European institutional collaboration. She initiated the first French project of its kind to be accepted by the European Commission — an initiative that helps establish drag as a powerful artistic, cultural, and educational tool while encouraging international exchange and European collaboration.
Through performance, knowledge-sharing, and project development, Ranael sees drag as a space for expression, connection, and innovation — extending far beyond the stage.
Dancer
Ranael began modern dance at the age of four. Over the years, her musical journey has profoundly shaped the way she moves, allowing her to develop a distinctive dance aesthetic inspired by her musical influences, from batucada to electronic music and techno.
Curious and instinctive, she has explored a wide range of styles — rock, salsa, samba and many others — blending and reinterpreting them to create a movement language of her own. She is particularly drawn to a precise and structured aesthetic, while always leaving room for the energy and spontaneity of movement.
Inspired by electronic sounds, Ranael creates dynamic and energetic physical performances driven less by technical virtuosity than by rhythm, sensation, and the exploration of movement. Her dance becomes an extension of her music: a way of embodying rhythm and transforming it into a powerful stage experience.
